The event will be held from 25th April to 22nd May 2023.

Although the hackathon is focused on the APAC region, we are open to everyone and anyone! We welcome beginners as well.

Yes! We want anyone with ideas or the passion to innovate to participate. Teams will however need at least one individual who can build/code a prototype as a code artefact is required for project submission.

Each team can have a minimum of 1 member, to a maximum of 5 members.

Teams are recommended to be formed within your own locations & time zones to avoid time zone fatigue but this is not mandatory. You can choose to join a team location in another time zone as well.

You’ll get everything you need to know about forming your team in our participants guide. Here’s how you can get access:
  1. Sign up for the Circle Hackathon, you’ll receive a link to our discord server
  2. Join the Official Circle Hackathon Discord Server
    a. You’ll be brought to the #welcome discord channel upon accepting the invite
    b. React to the message on the hackathon with the Circle logo reaction
    c. Perfect! You’ve been added to the Circle Hackathon category
  3. Retrieve your Circle Hackathon Participant Guide in via # participant-guide channel

Yes! Only registered individuals are eligible to participate and collect the prizes. Please ensure that all members of your team have registered their teams accordingly as well.
